How does it work?
Mail your order to Dr.Tube. As soon as
possible you'll receive a reply mail stating the amount of money (in Euro's and including shipping
costs) to be wired to the Dr.Tube bank account. When this transfer has been verified, your order
will be shipped. Keep in mind that shipping costs depend on the destination country, so please at
least state the country where the tubes need to be shipped to when enquiring.
Dr.Tube doesn't accept credit cards or cheques! The wiring costs for Euro transfers between banks within the European Union have been drastically reduced since July 1st 2003, making this method of payment quick, cheap, easy, safe and favourable! If you are outside of the European Union then please first check with your bank for the possibilities and price of international bank transfers prior to ordering.
Keep in mind that Dr.Tube is situated in Holland, in the European Union (EU). Shipping costs to far parts of the world outside of the EU can easily exceed the costs of the tubes themselves, and the shipping itself carries some risks in that a shipment can easily be damaged (tubes are fragile) or can get lost. The tubes are priority shipped as a parcel via the Dutch postal services (TNT Post). Insured shipping is possible at extra cost. Allthough the tubes are packed very securely with the utmost care in an oversized box, Dr.Tube cannot be held liable or responsible for damaged or missing shipments.
All prices are in Euro's (€), including Dutch 19% VAT, excluding shipping costs.

Shuguang
Shuguang tubes (also known under the Sino brand) are manufactured in the Hunan Shuguang factory in China. The quality of these tubes has been drastically improved over the last couple of years. So much so, that Dr.Tube is glad to sell some of these tubes.

Reflector
Reflector tubes were manufactured in the Reflector/ExpoPUL factory in Saratov, Russia. Nowadays this factory is owned by the New York based firm New Sensor, where the current production Sovtek, EHX, Tung-Sol and other brands tubes are being manufactured. The quality of these old NOS Reflector tubes is much better than the current production tubes eminating from this plant.

The NOS Reflector 6P3S (6П3С) is a generic Russian tube. This tube has often been
relabeled as a 6L6GC by some not so reputable relabelers and tube dealers. This tube, however, is
comparable to a 6L6GB and it is in fact the predecessor of the Sovtek 5881. This tube functions
fine in small 2x 6L6 amps (20W-30W) though.

6P14P-ER (6П14П-ЕР) Power Pentode
The NOS Reflector 6P14P-ER (6П14П-ЕР) is a Russian military quality
tube and it is the Russian equivalent of the EL84/6BQ5. It can withstand a higher anode and screen
grid voltage and it has a higher anode dissipation (14W) than the "normal" EL84 (12W). This tube
will survive a lot longer in a VOX AC30 and other cathode biassed amps which over stress and over
bias their EL84's.
This tube is often relabelled as the Sovtek EL84M, allthough it must be noted that the quality of
the current production Sovtek EL84M's leaves something to be desired off...

The Fischer & Tausche (F&T) LFAZ 35mm dual electrolytic capacitors (filter caps) are ideal as drop in replacements for Marshall, Selmer and VOX amp repairs or as filter caps for new projects.
