Marshall 30th Anniversary Schematics

To celebrate 30 years of Marshall amps the 30th Anniversary amps were introduced in 1992 (and discontinued in 1998). The 1992 standard edition amps were produced in blue vinyl. The 1992 Limited Edition (LE) amps were produced in blue vinyl with a brass plated chassis and a solid brass logo. In the years to follow the 30th anniversary amps were produced in the usual black vinyl though the January 1993 amps and cabinets were blue too.

Late 1994 the Lead channel was modified and the amps were renamed with the “LM” (Lead Mod?) suffix.

Late 1993 the availabilty of decent EL34s became problematic as Tesla had gone out of business and the last supplies of EL34 tubes had dried up. Marshall switched to Sovtek 5881 tubes. Allthough the Svetlana EL34 became available a few years later, Marshall didn’t switch back to the use of EL34 tubes in the production of the 30th Anniversary amps.

These amps have 3 channels (Clean, Crunch and Lead), which are MIDI switchable. They don’t have a reverb.
