The Valvestate 2 amps were introduced in 1996, super­ceding the Valvestate Mk1 serie, and discontinued in 2000 to be superceded by the Valvestate 2000 AVT range of amps in 2001.

VS100R, 100W 1×12″ combo with reverb

The VS100R combo was fitted with an Eminence 12″ 121502 Marshall Gold Back (SPK100) 8Ω speaker. The VS112 1×12″ extension cabinet was well suited for this amp.

The VS265 was fitted with an EI ECC83 tube and two Eminence 12″ Marshall Gold Back 8Ω speakers. The VS212 extension cabinet was well suited for this amp.

VS212, 160W 2×12″ stereo extension cabinet

The VS212 cabinet was fitted with two 12″ Celestion Gold Back 8Ω 80W speakers. It could be switched between 2x 8Ω stereo or 1x 4Ω mono operation.

VS412, 140W 4×12″ 8Ω cabinet, straight front.

The VS412 cabinet was fitted with four 12″ Celestion G12L35 8Ω 35W speakers.

VS412A, 140W 4×12″ 8Ω cabinet, angled front.

The VS412A cabinet was fitted with four 12″ Celestion G12L35 8Ω 35W speakers.
